Check-Out Procedures

The check-out will open at approximately 8:30 p.m. (an announcement will be made during the live auction when the check-out opens) and will remain open until everyone is checked-out. When you have completed your bidding, go to the check-out table, provide your bidder number, and you will be provided with a list of the items you have won and the total amount due. Upon payment, you will be provided with a receipt. For payment, we accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Please make checks payable to Christ Our Rock LHS. Auction officials will be present to provide you with the item and check the item off of your receipt. If you cannot transport a purchased item this evening, please talk to an auction official.

Notes

- Values are not listed on some items because 1) the value is unknown, or 2) the item is original or home-made in nature and therefore “priceless”.
- A few items listed in the silent auction may have been moved to the live auction. This is written across the bidder sheet on the silent auction table when this is the case.

Games

Heads-or-Tails

Game Description
Each person has the opportunity to purchase one strand of CORLHS neck beads for $5. The neck beads will be available near the Registration table until 5:45pm. As a thank you for purchasing the neck beads, you have the opportunity to participate in the Heads-or-Tails Game. The Heads-or-Tails Game will be conducted during the Live Auction.

Game Instructions
Upon the Auctioneer’s instruction, each person who purchased and is wearing a strand of neck beads will stand. You will then choose Heads by placing both hands on your head or Tails by placing both hands on your tail (buttocks). The auctioneer will flip a coin. All game participants guessing correctly remain standing and those guessing incorrectly will be seated. The process is repeated until one person remains standing. That person will be awarded the Heads-or-Tails prize.

Centerpiece Game

Game Description
The Centerpiece Game will be conducted during the Live Auction. The centerpiece on each table contains decorative envelopes. There is one envelope for each seat at your table. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE AN ENVELOPE UNTIL INSTRUCTED BY THE AUCTIONEER. Each person will have the right to purchase one envelope for $3. The envelopes are filled with party favors. One envelope per table has a gift certificate valued between $15-$30.

Game Instructions
Upon the Auctioneer’s instruction, each person is entitled to purchase one envelope. Place $3 into the centerpiece and take one envelope. DO NOT OPEN. If any envelopes are not purchased, then those remaining envelopes can be purchased by anyone from any table. Any unpurchased envelopes will be gathered and auctioned as a group to the highest bidder later in the Live Auction. After all envelopes have been purchased or collected, the Auctioneer will commence the “Opening of the Envelopes” to determine gift recipients.
