• 38 new hallway lockers to bring the total to 130 - needed as we are expecting to grow by 10 to 15% per year over the upcoming years.  completed
• A 5,000 square foot addition that will add an art room (the present art room would be converted to a general classroom) plus two new classrooms, bathrooms, and storage. This addition will allow us to double each grade, something we expect to begin in the fall of 2011 by having two sections of freshmen classes. This addition to be built in 2013 or 2014.

• Reduced debt. We've lowered our debt from $1.4 million to $1.12 in three years (that's 19%), allowing us to restructure our loan at a lower percentage rate and lower payments - saving us tens of thousands of dollars every year in interest payments. We will continue this trend and reduce the debt by another 20% over the next three years.  Our debt is now below $1 million
• Adding new classes and resources in Spanish, technology, music, agriculture and more.  completed
• Bus transportation to take students to athletic events, field trips, service projects, and more.
• Growing our endowment from $27,000 to $2 million over the next generation through deferred gifts (estate plans), establishing a fund that will help support Christ Our Rock for decades to come.  Several generous supporters have designated $1,447,000 in deferred gifts to CORLHS and a total of over $3.5 million to ministry as a whole.
• Over 100 volunteers assisting with daily activities and special projects to keep operational expenses in check.  We have 25 individuals signed up for volunteerism specific to the efforts to the cdampaign.

Through the Seeking, Serving, Soaring Campaign,                                      
                                                     all of this and more will become reality!

     We are searching for more than 500 individuals or families to pledge financial support to help us achieve the goals of this campaign. In addition, we are looking for individuals to make a pledge of time, volunteering to support the ministry of Christ Our Rock. Finally, we are seeking individuals who desire guidance in forming an estate plan that will meet their personal needs while blessing Christ Our Rock with a deferred gift.

Serving

     This campaign will help us better serve our present students and provide the means to serve more students in the future. It is important to us to serve our community, providing an excellent education and a Christian alternative to area high schools. God has blessed us with great students and families and we strive to go above and beyond to make this high school experience an excellent adventure. We also want to serve our area congregations and communities by providing various opportunities such as our local service projects, 7th grade basketball tournament, Rock Solid middle school faith experience and more. Finally, through this campaign, we will provide professional Christian estate planning services to area individuals.

Soaring

     We believe that God wants Christ Our Rock to be a positive and powerful ministry within our communities and has given us this opportunity to be lifted up, soaring higher than ever before. It is time for us to act to achieve the simple goals of this campaign. God has allowed us to accomplish so much in such a short time, and we pray that the future will lead to even more success as we reach out to more students with a quality education.
